Just wanted to confirm this route still works, as of May 2022.
I traveled from the Caye Caulker ferry station in Belize City to Flores, Guatemala as follows –
BELIZE CITY > FLORES
●Water taxi to bus station (taxi) $5bz pp or 15mins walk
●Bus Belize City to Benque $11bz (3 hours, $5.50 usd)
●Taxi Benque to border $5bz pp (5 mins, $2.50usd)
●Colectivo Melhor to Flores $40q pp ($5usd) ~ 2 hours
●Tuk tuk to Flores island $10q pp ($1.25usd)
As mentioned in the blog post, the boarder crossing was super easy and the collectivo station is easy to find (over the bridge, first left), don’t book collectivos at the boarder unless you want to get ripped off!
