The one key piece of information you need to know about the buses and the Puntarenas – Paquera Ferry is that if you are headed to Santa Teresa or Montezuma, the 5pm sailing is the last ferry that has a bus connecting all the way to these towns!

    Ferry schedules have changed as following, where Puntarenas – Paqueras and Paqueras – Puntarenas share mostly the same departure times:

    05:30, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, 20:00 (Paquera – Puntarenas only), 20:30 (Puntarenas – Paqueras only)
