2 travel tips for Lago Yojoa - share your tips below!

  1. Josephine Burns

El Mochito bus now 70 HNL from SPS to D&D.

From D&D to Tegucigalpa there’s only one direct bus at around 6am. I left around 11am and stopped at the restaurants along the way on the east side of the lake (highly recommend), this was my route..

●Mototaxi from Los Noranjos to Peña Blanca (20hnl/80c)
●Chicken bus Peña Blanca to La Guama 30mins (25hnl/$1)
●Microbus/collectivo to the restaurants on El Lago 20mins (20hnl/80c)
    ●Autobús restaurantes to Tegucigalpa 2.5-3hrs (150hnl/$6)

More direct route is Pinas Blancas to La Guama and then direct La Guama to Tegus, as they pass regularly from SPS. Bus from restaurants to Tegus was umarked (no sign), locals pointed it out and hailed it for me, likely same case from La Guama.

  2. Karolina Patela

From La Ceiba bus to San Pedro best, cheap and comfortable option in big bus MIRNA (121 HNL), change bus in San Pedro Sula terminal to El Mochito (50 HNL) to get to D&D brewery. Different bus if you go to La Gauma
